Can employees get access to complete onboarding before their start date?
Yes. New hires can view and complete all assigned tasks through the mobile app or web portal as soon as you grant access. They transition to active status automatically on their start date.
What happens to onboarding data after an employee becomes active?
All assignment data and task history moves with the employee to their active profile. The lifecycle tab remains available for reference, and the assignments tab continues to function for future document distribution.
Can I assign tasks to existing active employees?
Absolutely. The assignments feature works for both onboarding and active employees, allowing you to distribute updated policies, new training modules, or compliance documents to your entire workforce.
How does the automatic transition work?
On the start date you specify during employee creation, the system automatically moves the employee from "Onboarding Users" to "Active Users." They immediately gain access to timesheets, payroll, and all other modules.
