Customer Success Manager
The Opportunity
As a Customer Success Manager (CSM) at Lumber, you’ll be the go-to partner for our customers—guiding them through onboarding, adoption, and expansion. You’ll ensure they get maximum value from the Lumber platform while building strong relationships that drive retention and growth. This is a high-impact role for someone who loves solving problems, understands SaaS, and gets excited about making tech simple (and useful) for real people in the construction industry.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of customers, ensuring a seamless post-sale experience.
- Drive onboarding, training, and ongoing adoption of Lumber’s platform across HR, payroll, and field teams.
- Partner with customers to understand their goals and proactively identify opportunities to help them succeed.
- Monitor account health, usage, and satisfaction metrics to reduce churn and expand product utilization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Support teams to deliver customer feedback and advocate for feature improvements.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and deliver strategic insights to drive long-term customer success.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities aligned with customer needs and goals.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or related SaaS role.
- Strong relationship-building skills and genuine passion for helping customers succeed.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills—comfortable speaking with executives and field-level users alike.
- Proven track record of driving product adoption and customer retention.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities with precision and empathy.
- Experience in construction tech, HR tech, payroll, or workforce management.
- Tech-savvy and curious—always eager to learn how AI and automation can make work better.
